At the office

I teach classes for any level of experience and mobility at the office. A strong vinyasa class before the day begins creates heat and energy. A lunchtime meditation and breathwork class creates time for reflection and decompression. An after-work restorative class creates the distinction between work and home, preparing students for a restful evening and deep sleep.

Schools

The World Health Organisation recommends the introduction of yoga in all schools because of its ‘immediate psychological benefits’.

Pupils from reception all the way to sixth form can be offered yoga meditation and breathwork to build balance, concentration and appreciation of nature. The practice can help young people to stay in the moment, calm anxiety and build confidence.

Corporate leadership programmes

I teach on sustainability leadership programmes for global corporates in various industries including banking, food retail and utilities. Yoga is an ideal part of an educational programme, as it helps to provide stress relief and reflection time for participants.

Sustainability principles are deeply connected to foundational yogic philosophy, including ahimsa (non-harming), aparigrahah (non-greed, taking only what we need to stay within the planetary boundaries) and santosha (contentment, decoupling happiness from the current model of accumulation of wealth and goods).

Charity and community work

I teach with Mind, Solace Women's Aid, Luminary Bakery, Camden Libraries and The Zen Project. Those who would not usually have access to yoga can begin and grow their practice in a welcoming environment.
